Starting at age 15 in high school, he began writing songs before professionally recording in 2019. His rise to prominence came through hits like “Imperfection” and “Journey,” with the latter chronicling his gritty come-up in a way that was raw and relatable.
As 450 himself states: “All of my songs are authentic since they are frequently inspired by real-life events or by the mindset I’m in at the time I hear a riddim.”

“My father was a artist, mother was a producer same way, have uncle that did do music, so is more of a bloodline thing,” he told DancehallMag. His breakout success came with the release of “Imperfection,” which was produced by Week.day of Tru Ambassador Entertainment.
Working with his management team Syndicate and his manager Jahvy Ambassador, 450 has strategically built his brand through relentless hustle and careful development of his unique sound. “Mi get the big break from Jahvy Ambassador, which is my current manager. He reached out to me at an early stage of my career. He heard a song that I released and said there was potential and he wanted to work with me.”
450’s unique perspective on dancehall comes through in his authentic approach to music. As he explains: “My uniqueness, my style of music, my lyrical content. Those are some of the stuff that mek me standout apart from the crowd. That’s what the people love and appreciate my music for.”
In December 2023, 450 charted at #1 in 14 Caribbean islands on Apple Music with his single “Wild n Rich,” which received nearly four million streams on YouTube in just three weeks. He recently concluded his first tour of England, which he considers his biggest accomplishment of 2023.
As of January 2024, 450 had 7 songs on Jamaica’s top 10 chart and has earned more than 250,000 followers on his TikTok account, with his content receiving more than 3 million likes.

450 has big ambitions for his career and for Jamaican music as a whole. In his own words: “Dominating and ah win some Grammy. Dat is the pree wah me and mi team have right now. Doing some music weh relatable to all people, some music fi di females, music fi di streets, some international sounding ting. Some tings weh can put we pon di map, Jamaica and dancehall pon di map as well.”

Speaking about his creative process, he revealed: “I decided to go into the studio and put how I was feeling into the song as I was driving with Weekday (the producer) and listening to the riddim.” This emotional honesty comes through in his tracks aimed at female audiences.
